Nikolai Valuev is a Russian professional boxer and former two-time WBA heavyweight champion. With his 7 ft (2.13 m) height, he is one of the biggest athletes in the world. Who would've guessed if Nikolai Valuev has a very tiny wife. His spouse, Galina/Galya, is only 5' 2" (1.55 m) tall!

Not just tall, Nikolai Valuev also has over 310 pounds of weight! Because of his huge body, Valuev is nicknamed as The Beast from The East, Rock Man, The Russian Bear, Lurch, The Russian Giant, and even Shrek!

But apparently this giant has a soft heart. He met Galina in friend's birthday party in 1999. To won her heart, Valuev wrote her love poetry! They later married in 2000. The couple have two children Grisha (son) and Irina (daughter).

This is her second pregnancy after gave birth to her son, Curtis Muhammad Conway Jr., on August 26, 2008. Laila Ali is the wife of former NFL player, Curtis Conway. They married on 23 July 2007 in Los Angeles.

In joy of expecting her second baby, Laila Ali is accepting her body changes. “I do my research and I know what to expect. Your body changes. It’s such a short period of time that I know now after the first one that it’s going to come and go so quickly that you’ll get back to yourself. It takes a lot of work to get back to yourself,” she said during an interview with OK magazine.

Different from her first pregnancy, this time Laila Ali is surprised that she's having cravings, ”This time I really want sweets, sweets, sweets. I’ve gotta watch it. I’ve got two more months, and I’ve already put on 30 pounds, so I have to watch it.”

Although has been more than four years since her last fight, Laila Ali is never stated her retirement. In the age of 33, it's very possible that the daughter of Muhammad Ali will add more victory to her 24 wins - 0 losses - 0 draws professional record. Manny Pacquiao is 3rd Richest Athletes of The World

Do you know how much money that Manny Pacquiao won from his last bout against Antonio Margarito in November 13, 2010? It was about $20 millions! The $15 millions was his fee from the fight, while the remaining $5 millions was from pay-per-view (PPV) share. With this additional money, Manny Pacquiao will be in Forbes' top-three for World's Richest Athlete list.

On the last list, Manny Pacquiao still in 6th place, with the sum of $40 millions in his pocket. Added with those $20 millions, his wealth gonna be around $60 millions. Compared with other world's richest athlete, he will be in 3rd place, below Tiger Woods ($105 millions) and Floyd Mayweather Jr. ($65 millions).

Senator Manny Pacquiao?

In May 10, boxing world champion Manny Pacquiao is running for a congressional seat in the province of Sarangani, Philippines, opposing 61-year-old Roy Chiongbian. Roy's late father, James, authored the 1992 law that created Sarangani province, and was their first congressperson, so Pacquiao's quest is not easy at all.

Pac Man has a unique reason regarding to his desire to become a senator, that is he doesn't want to fall poor again after he retired from boxing someday. He likes to help the less fortunate, but so far he is doing so by using his personal money. He worries someday he will spent all of his money that nothing left anymore for himself.

Manny Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum, arrived in Philippines last Wednesday to support his favorite boxer. He's rooting for a Manny win, he says, but whatever way the vote goes, Arum will be ready with plan.

Arum still expects Pacquiao to fight on, even if he wins the election. As Arum said so famously after the Joshua Clottey's fight, Pacquiao's election shouldn't be the slightest interruption to his boxing, because "he would do the same thing congressmen in the United States do. Nothing."
