Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears have signed draft picks Stephen Paea and Chris Conte to four-year contracts.
Paea, a defensive tackle from Oregon State, was selected in the second round of April's draft. Conte, a safety from California, was the team's third-round choice.
Reports also indicate that wide receiver Roy Williams could be headed to the Bears. Williams was released by the Cowboys on Thursday after two-plus subpar years in Dallas.
According to ESPN, the Bears are Williams' first choice, but he can't talk with any team until Friday afternoon.
The former University of Texas star had just 75 catches combined in the last two seasons. He spent the first four-plus years of his career with Detroit and was a Pro Bowl pick after the 2006 season with Mike Martz as his offensive coordinator. Martz is the offensive coordinator in Chicago.
