500 BC movie Story: 500 BC movie is set during the time of the Lord Buddha. the story revolves around the lost tooth of Lord Buddha. entire movie will be shot in the forests of Sri Lanka.
The film is based on Lord Buddha’s tooth that still remains in a Temple in Sri Lanka. There is a popular belief that the land in which the tooth is housed would flourish and due to this there was a severe competition among the kings and wars ensued killing scores of people.
This tooth was originally with the Kalinga Kings and after several wars it had finally landed in Sri Lanka.
