The 28-year-old actress, who was born in Canada, got her first big break when she was cast as Kiefer Sutherland's daughter Kim Bauer in the premiere season of Fox's 24. After playing the damsel-in-distress role for several seasons on 24, Elisha branched out with starring roles in Old School, The Quiet and The Girl Next Door.
She auditioned for but was rejected for several high-profile films such as Spider-man (she would have played Kirsten Dunst's character) and Superman Returns (Lois Lane). But she rebounded with starring roles in House of Wax (with Paris Hilton) and Captivity.
She returned for the final season of 24 and joined the cast of ABC's The Forgotten; however, the show was cancelled. Now, Elisha is starring in an ABC comedy called Happy Endings, which has been renewed for a second season this fall.
