Zlatan Ibrahimovic and His Taekwondo Black-Belt

AC Milan's striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is not just proficient in football. He also has a taekwondo black-belt that he received in the age of 17 from Malmö Taekwondo club, Enighet. Recently, Ibra also received an honorary black-belt from Italian taekwondo team.

Did they give the belt to mock Ibrahimovic beacuse of his bad behavior? The Swedish striker is well known for his preference of attacking his own teammates. This season only, he already involved in a fight with Oguchi Onyewu, during AC Milan training session. Just a while before, he kicked Rodney Strasser from behind and acted like nothing happened. Recently, during AC Milan vs Palermo match, he tried to kicked the ball from Robinho's belly, when the Brazilian celebrated his goal by acting like a pregnant woman.

Apparently, that's not the case. Italian taekwondo team gave the belt purely because of Zlatan Ibrahimovic skill in this martial arts. He also chosen as an icon to promotes taekwondo world championship that going to be held at Florence next week.

Ibra is honored to received the belt. Ironically, just a day after, he practices his kicking skill to Marco Materazzi during Milano derby.

Shaquille O'Neal vs Jim Rome Twitter Wars

Shaquille O'Neal reported have signed a $1.4 million/year contract with last year NBA runner-up, Boston Celtics. But Jim Rome said on his TV show "Rome is Burning" that Celtics would be making a huge mistake.

Rome said that Shaq O'Neal is getting older and slower, he also said "Shaq never approached the game with the dedication and discipline of Kobe Bryant." Rome also wrote in his website that luckily Celtics only pay him with $1.4 mill, although Shaq O’Neal’s been looking for $8 mill/year.

Maybe the Kobe Bryant part was what ignited Shaq anger the most, he then starting to wrote on his Twitter account,

"Jim Rome, I am happy with my career and the legacy that I have left behind, obviously u r not happy wit yur legacy I 4got u have no legacy,"

"And forget the back and forth jim rome, I challenge u to a boxing match, live at espn studios, show the world if u can bak up the tuff talk."

Jim Rome also have something to said in his Twitter:

"@THE_REAL_SHAQ For 8 mill, maybe, but I'm not getting my face caved in for the veteran's minimum. & you are a little out of my weight class."

@THE_REAL_SHAQ Really? You're getting hooked and want to fight a guy with no legacy. You're better than that. Thx 4 checking in. Bn 2 long.

And Shaq wanted to kick back:

"Those that dnt respect your hard work, its ok, make em respect u as a person. Shaq oneal"

And then he linked to a video of Rome being attacked by NFL quarterback Jim Everett after Rome addressed Everett as "Chris" in reference to an opinion the talk show host had that Everett was playing football like a girl, namely tennis star Chris Evert.

Last words by Jim Rome:

@THE_REAL_SHAQ You just threw the Everett card? So tired. So easy. So boring. What happened to you? Where's the Big Aristotle? Or MDE?

Tiger Woods Trash Talks

After five months absent from golf course, Tiger Woods starts to get his magic touch back. On his 2010 debut in The Masters, he managed to finished in 4th position, scored 277 hits or 11 under par.

That can be consider as a good result, because it was only 1 hit lower than when Tiger Woods won The Masters in 2002 and 2005. In the last day, he even managed to scored five birdies in the last nine holes. Unfortunately, his competitors like the champion Phil Mickelson, Lee Westwood, and Anthony Kim are on fire at the moment.

But one thing to notice, Woods who stated will act different, didn't seem to changed at all. He still cursed and said dirty words when his shots gone wrong. On the third day, he get caught by TV microphone emotionally saying trash like "Tiger, you're suck!" or "Jesus Christ!" with high tone.

When he first talked to the media after his scandals resurfaced, Woods made a promise that he will be more polite and patient in golf match. He won't act emotional or jumping around when he makes a good shot.

Jim Nantz of CBS TV commented on Tiger Woods behavior, "If I said what he said on the air, I would be fired. I read in the USA Today and it was called “mild language.” Someone on my broadcast dismissed it as him having a camera in his face. Well, guess what? Phil Mickelson had a camera in his face all week and did you even hear him come close to approaching that? He didn’t hit every shot the way he wanted. Have you ever heard Arnold Palmer or Jack Nicklaus use that kind of language? What are the parameters between what’s right or wrong?"

I guess it's not that easy to change someone's bad habits.

Football Fight

Just like Best Goal Celebrations, even it still happens on the field, but it is not part of the game officially, Football Fight.

What is in your mind, if I say "dangerous sport" ? Do you think about boxing? racing? or other kinds of extreme sport like snowboarding or climbing?

You aren't wrong, but I think you should consider the most popular sport in the world, Football or Soccer (how the American call it) is one of the dangerous sport too.

What makes football is one of the dangerous sport ?it's just because nowadays it is mixed with some kinds of martial art while they played it, so we call it Football Fight.

Even the stars of this sport like Maradona, Eric Cantona, Adriano, even Zinedine Zidane have involved in this Football Fight for once or even more.

If you watch these videos below you will believe it.

Officially it is football, in fact we have watched, it is more likely the mixed of footbal and martial art, isn't it?

Best Goal Celebrations

Now, I add a new category, Funny Stuff, which not connected to particular athlete, because it might be covers for numerous or unknown figures in sport. For the first post on this category I choose "Goal Celebration". I know it's still inside the match, but it's outside the technical aspects of the game. It's funny, entertaining, and sometime make your opponents angry. In fact, I think goal celebration also reflects the personality of the athlete itself. Someone is joyful, fun, and other is cool and calm and full of emotion.

For this first post, I give you the best goal celebration from football (soccer). Next time, I'll post from another sports like basketball, hockey, American football, or celebration of Indian players when they're set the new cricket world cup records.

Okay, if there's the best, there's the worst. This one is funny, someone who failed in goal celebration:
