Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja’s rape case has been resolved. The case which was running at the fast track court since 2009 was finally out. The actor who was on bail was arrested and taken to jail. He was proved guilty of raping his maid servant at his apartment.
Shiney fought for two years but finally the decision of the court went against him. He was found guilty of raping his maid servant. He was seen outside the court in pink shirt with wife Anupam. After the incident, the girl lodged a complaint at the police station against the actor, cops arrested Ahuja from his apartment. There were many ups and downs in the case, sometimes Shiney comes out clear and sometimes the girl was proved right.
The case was later moved to the fast track court for quick judgment. Finally, the DNA test, the girl’s torn hymen and Ahuja's and the maid's torn clothes clearly indicates that Shiney was guilty.
The police, in a 109-page charge sheet, accused Ahuja of raping his maid. An eyewitness said that Shiney broke down after the court verdict but he can appeal in the High Court.
Bollywood has lost another versatile actor. Veteran TV and film actor Navin Nischol died of cardiac arrest on Saturday. He was 65. The actor was travelling to Pune with filmmaker and actor Randhir Kapoor when he suffered massive attack. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
His funeral will be held today. His daughter Natasha and mother Kamla was near him during his last breath. Bollywood mourns his death.
Navin Nischol made a successful debut with ‘Sawan Bhadon’ in 1970 and starred in films like ‘Victoria No 203’, Dhund’ ‘Chhalia’, ‘Parwana’, ‘Buddha Mil Gaya’ and also made appearance in ‘The Burning Train’ and ‘Major Saab’.
He is best remembered as Balraj of popular TV series ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’. He was recently seen in films like 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' and 'Break Ke Baad'.

Dressed in Pink lehenga, actress and former Miss India Gul Panag tied the knot with her school friend and a comercial pilot, Rishi Attari in a purely Punjabi style in Haryana.
The couple after getting hitched in Gurudwara headed for the wedding reception in a motorbike. Former Miss India, Gul Panag is very sporty and adventurous, she likes to ride and drive bikes and so she chose motorbikes to reach the reception venue after the wedding. Rishi drove a Royal Enfield motorcycle, with Gul sitting in the sidecar.
The baraat consisted of riders on over 20 Enfield motorcycles, some of which were being driven by women. The traffic came to a standstill. TV actor Shruti Seth, Koel Puri, ‘Turning 30’ director Alankrita Shrivastava along with designers Mandira Wirk and Urvashi Kaur attended the wedding.
Hailed from Amritsar, Rishi is now settled in Delhi.
The grand finale of the dance show, ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4’ is yet to be aired today on Sony Entertainment channel but the final result of the show is out. Meiyang Chang, a professional dentist tuned singer-actor and now a dancer has been crowned the winner of JDJ season 4. He beat item girl Yana Gupta and TV actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Sushant was highly expected to win the show on looking at his popularity but finally the crown went to Meiyang. Yana Gupta who fractured her nose during the show had less chance of winning the show as compared to Meiyang and Sushant.
Meiyang Chang first came to the limelight when he participated in ‘Indian Idol 3’ and debuted in acting with ‘Badmaash Company’.
