Rajinikanth suffering from lung, liver disorder

Superstar Rajinikanth who was admitted to Isabel hospital twice is recovering well and is under doctor’s supervision. He has not resumed the shooting of the highly anticipated film, ‘Rana’ and would start shooting once fully recovered. His elder brother Satyanarayana Rao Gaikwad confirms that Rajini has been suffering from a lung infection and liver related problems.


"As you know Rajini was a chain smoker and had a drinking habit. The doctors have identified some problems in his lungs and liver," he said. He further confirms that strict diet to slim down has caused minor complications.


On the first day of film shoot, he was admitted when he complained of exhaustion and vomiting. In a span of one week, he was again taken to the same hospital when the actor complained breathing problem.


At least, the actor will take six months to recover fully. He is responding to medicines and is doing fine now.
